Default wells

well wells didn't get buffed liked it was rumored they would, so still kinda useless for PvP, but i'm wondering why they don't see more use in PvE?

Considering they all stack, wells can be pretty powerful. Well of Power + Well of blood for +12 health regen and +2 energy regen? On a supportive blood necro also running orders and blood ritual, i could see necros being very powerful support class. Perhaps a Blood/Prot N/Mo hero using wells, orders, blood rit, then standard prot skills... It seems like a very strong combination.

It would make only support wells popular and be way too exploitable with energy regen. Atleast right now you can support the frontline/midline and affect enemies.

Health regen isn't particularly useful, energy regen is
always welcome but +2 for an elite slot and as wells
are stationary, I wouldnt use them regularly.

The blood line is generally weaker than Curses of Death equivalents.

Now watch this get shot down..

+2 energy regeneration for 21 seconds (Well of Power at 16 Blood) = 14 energy.
The energy regen isn't that useful. Your team mates are not going to be standing in a well for that long and to be honest, that corpse probably had a better use.

Health regeneration isn't that useful either, but it is something. With that in mind, if you really want a well and have room for one (which you never will), bring Well of Blood, it's on a faster recharge and doesn't take up an elite slot.

Another problem with the support wells is that they're in the blood magic line, which is pretty weak. If you're running orders, you'll want to be bringing other skills that complement your function better and I think it unlikely you'll want to bring Well of Power over say, Foul Feast.

I really could have explained this better...

You can offer far more with a 3-4 blood spec and [blood ritual] than you can wasting your elite slot on health and energy regen (which tbh is pitiful) Also remember wells have to rely on your team being smart enough to stand in them and I suppose smart enough casters that don't run right to the front out of safe touch range with BR..

Anyway unless you are 55hp farming direct healing >>>>>>>>>>regen

I'd say mainly because id rather a minion bomber in pvp then a well spammer. +x health in an enemy mob where my allies arnt standing is useless. -x health to a mob isnt great, not bad but isnt great when a bomber can give them -health and deal mass damage.

I doubt it would become something so useful that it'd see play in lots of places in PvE. PvP, however, would probably end up churning out a few Blood spike gimmicks, or something.

I've had some PvE success with Well of Blood, but that's just because henchies tend to bunch together and get surrounded by the enemy and the well keeps them alive just a little bit longer. XD When I'm with other players they usually know when to get the heck out of the way, so the wells aren't that useful.

how would it be to create wells(according to some leaks, without a corpse) like ele's wards
,like create a well of power at your location or at target ally's location, although i believe it would be overpowered for some wells such as well of the profane.

minions....wells....minions....wells....so hard to choose! @__@

if people rarely use [radiation field], what makes u think they're gonna use [well of suffering] (in pve)?

imo wells in pve serve only one purpose: so monsters can steal corpses from your own mm thus making the game slightly harder

pvp side of wells = meh...not even worth talking bout

To be fair, I think [Well of the Profane] sees some play in HA.

Sadly, the only nice thing about wells is the glowy green animation. They are all pretty bad skills when you think about what you could be using instead.
